Car Accident Attorney » what http://caraccidentattorney-losangeles.com Los Angeles Wed, 23 May 2012 20:24:06 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 Car accident .what happenes to me now? http://caraccidentattorney-losangeles.com/car-accident-claims-los-angeles/car-accident-what-happenes-to-me-now/ http://caraccidentattorney-losangeles.com/car-accident-claims-los-angeles/car-accident-what-happenes-to-me-now/#comments Thu, 20 Oct 2011 02:26:37 +0000 legal editor http://caraccidentattorney-losangeles.com/car-accident-claims-los-angeles/car-accident-what-happenes-to-me-now/ Got into a car accident in March of 2010.I was changing lanes and another person came outta nowhere bumped my bumper then as I was turning a corner spun my car around it.The other driver and 2 passengers got out of the car and started yelling at me not in english.The cops were called to scene and issued the other driver citations for No License and No Registration.My license was valid and the car I was driving(Hubbys)has Full Coverage.The cop said we were all set and just to go get a copy of the assident report in 7days to give to our Ins company which we did.Mind you no injuries from any car were reported at the time of the accident.Fast foward to August my mother was driving us home from work in my car and we got pulled over.I didnt realize my registration ran out on my vehicle 3months prior when the cop ran my name it came back as my license being suspend 2 weeks prior! I asked him why and he had no idea and said it had something to do with the accident.I re-registred my car the following day and the guy at the DMV said nothing to me about my license being suspended.Hubbys car went into the shop for the estimate for the damages,they were right under $900! We couldnt get the car fixed due to us having to pay for the rental car so he could go to work so it hasnt ben fixed yet.Since August I’ve been calling all over to find out why my license got suspended in the first place.I had to call the cops in the city the accident happened and the officer told me it was a clergical error on their part and they would fix it.It is now March 2011 and it hasnt been fixed and the DMV cant help me! A few days ago Hubby gets the mail and there are 2 envelopes addressed to each of us from the same Attorney.I read the entire letter and long story short he’s representing us and our Ins Company cause the driver of the other car claimed injuries and wont settle for what they offered him! Now mind you my INS called me Weeks after the accident and asked if anyone got hurt or if the rescue was called to scene.I told them no and they said the other party got a lawyer and was clamining unjuries.Now what does this mean for me?? Can I get anything for the pain n suffering of loosing my license for an accident soo minor?? Thanks!
