I got into a car accident last august, some lady ran a a stop sign and “t-boned” me. When police came they said she didn’t have a license. I dont know if they meant she didnt have one at all or if she just didn’t have it on her at the time. Anyways, the car was considered a total wreck, i hurt my back really bad. The car had to be taken. The car i was driving was my boyfriend’s mom’s car. So she got the money for the car. I contacted a lawyer about the accident. They’ve been sending me to get treatment which has really helped a lot. I recently just finished my treatment and my lawyer told me they would send the other party’s insurance all the info and wait for them to make an offer. I just want to find out how much do people usually get from this and how the whole money thing goes. I know my lawyer gets paid first from the money from the settlement? I dont know, this is the first time something like this has ever happened to me. So exactly how much do people get from suing for the same reasons i am going through.

In this video, Gursten explains how No-Fault insurance companies and defense lawyers know which car accident attorneys have outstanding trial records. This determines whether a personal injury victim will receive a fair settlement offer from the insurance company (that does not want to face a good car accident attorney in court) or a very low settlement offer. Gursten insists that people suffering personal injuries from car accidents must research their prospective attorney’s trial record — as it makes a huge difference between a mediocre settlement and an outstanding one. What can you do after car or truck accident? You can call Michigan Auto Law at (800) 777-0028 to speak with a car accident attorney free of charge.
