www.attorneyscottwright.com Attorney Scott Wright 321-723-1997 drtvSEID Hi. I’m attorney Scott Wright. If you’ve been injured in an accident, you should know the insurance company will aggressively investigate your claim. Their purpose in doing so is not to support your claim, but to improve their prospects for denying it. The insurance adjuster will interview witnesses, will request from you an authorization to release all of your medical records, may ask that you agree to be examined by a physician of their choosing at their expense. They may also hire a private investigator, conduct background checks on you, and also place you under surveillance. If you’d like to discuss how to deal with these measures of investigation by the insurance company, feel free to give me a call. You can reach me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 321-723-1997. I look forward to speaking with you.
i had a car accident by losing control of my car after driving to close to the curb with gravel. i jerked the wheel to hard at the legal speed of 55, to prevent from going off the road. in the result i lost control of my vehicle and flipped it 3times. i was not under the influences of any substance of any kind. it was a complete accident. i have full coverage insurance. my passenger was air lifted to the hospital for a back injury. my insurance was going to cover all his medical bills, up until he contacted a attorney to further sue my insurance company and myself. in result of all this my passenger will not talk to me anymore and is suing me for the remainder medical fees, future lost wages and future medical fees in which my insurance did not cover. a total of around $90,000 so far without the future costs. my insurance company appointed me an attorney for my case. question is, “will i be responsible to pay this passengers remainder medical bills and future medical bills and lost wages?” this passenger has a criminal history of many wrongs that resulted in jail and prison time. this passenger also does not hold a job long or one at all. the passenger claims to have permanent injures which i don’t believe, because I’ve seen this person drive and walk in public places, such as a bar. i believe this person is able to do things any other person can do. please give me some idea of what might happen in this case. will i have to pay for these things?
Is it possible to see the final statement before my lawyer agrees to settle with the insurance?
Mar 1
This is regarding a personal injury (from car accident) claim. I was at no fault. Other driver’s negligence. I was told that it was my right to see both settlement proposal as well as final statement prior my lawyer talks or gives the documents to the insurance. My lawyer never did. Always went straight to the insurance without consulting me…
I was in an auto accident in VA. I was the passenger of the vehicle and the person t-boned the entire side of the vehicle I was in. The person that hit us was at fault and received a ticket. They didn’t have car insurance so my girlfriend’s car insurance is paying for everything. I was rushed to the ER and injured my neck, shoulder, chest, back and wrist. I am currently going to PT and OT. The physical therapist said I have musculoskeletal injuries. I have to take 4 different meds a day and I have chest pain several times a day. The current (some) bills and lost wages are over 6k as of right now and my physician says I will be in PT for at least another month. I haven’t been able to work my pt job because of the type of work I do there but I have been able to go to my full time job. How much should I expect for pain and suffering. I can’t even lift a bag of groceries now because my wrist hurts so badly. I don’t want to get a lawyer since they take all the money.
The insurance company already told me they are going to pay for my lost wages.
