In relation to my previous question, I was informed by the insurance company of the at-fault vehicle in my car accident that they may not be liable to pay my medical expenses in an accident, thus I was afraid to visit the doctor, as I have no health insurance.

After my accident I opened an injury claim with AAA, the insurer of the car at fault. Then I got a letter saying since they hadn’t heard from me in a few months that they would just close the the claim. I still have back pains and don’t know how to handle the insurance claim.
I’ve tried meds for my back, and they all just make me really tired or disagree with my stomach. I’ve also tried physically therapy a couple of times but it just made it worse. I don’t know what to do to save my back and and I don’t know how to make sure I am repaid somehow for pain and suffereing. So I guess I’m looking for legal advice too? I’m only 23 and I have back issues and it’s not my fault! What do I do? I’ll take ANY kind of advice…Dr’s? Lawyers!? HELP ME PLEASE!! Thanks!!!!!
What is the time limit to file a claim on a personal injury caused by a car accident? Would it be possible to sue the person that caused the car accident after one year, even though at that time there was no police report, and the person’s car that got hit did not file a personal injury report? What are the chances of winning if a lawsuit is filed after one year of the accident? Since California has a statue of limitation of two years, could this person file a lawsuit even though he did not file for the personal injury, but onlly for the damages done to his car? And can I sue him back for possible fraud?

I was driving south bound a guy pulled out of a parking lot to my right side heading south as well. He t-boned me in the door behind me in the drivers seat. I have has neck shoulder and back pain since. This occurred may 24, 2010. i was in my personal vehicle but on company time so workers comp is picking up the medical bills. My life is a mess im a single mother of 3 i am now divorced.i had a mri i have 2 bulging disk in my neck c6 and c7. i begin physical therapy tomorrow. But my fear is i will loose my job my condition may not allow me to crawl under houses i work for terminix as an inspector and outside sales person. my boss has been so mean throughout this all. im an emotional mess besides work i cant take care of my kids like i normally would as in the simple things like swimming with them playing sports bowling ..my question is should i get a lawyer and sue? workers comp is paying the medical bills and my car has 6127.00 worth of damage and it has been in the shop getting fixed since the day of the accident and i have a rental car being paid for by the guy who hit me his insurance company. but i struggle pay check to pay check i don’t know how ill survive my bills on workers comp what should i do, and is it worth it to get a lawyer involved and when is the best time to find one? please i need guidance…..

Two carjacking suspects were in custody Wednesday after the vehicle in which they were fleeing from deputies crashed into a pickup truck in South Los Angeles, killing the man who was driving it, authorities said.
Paramedics sent to Century Boulevard west of Vermont Avenue shortly before 7 a.m. pronounced a man dead at the scene, d’Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Miguel Castro Falcon, 46, of Los Angeles, died in the accident, said Capt. Ed Winter of the coroner’s office.
The vehicle, a Toyota Camry, that crashed into the truck had been carjacked at gunpoint shortly before 5 a.m., Deputy Johnie Jones of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau said.
Deputies saw it about 7 a.m. and started chasing it, but backed off when they were told it was just a stolen vehicle, Jones said. It then crashed into the pickup truck.
The passenger in the Camry was arrested at the scene after getting into one of several other vehicles that were involved in the collision and trying to pass himself off as a victim, deputies said.
The driver fled but was caught about 90 minutes later, Jones said.
Both suspects were 16 years old, Los Angeles police said.
“I felt that they left him in the car too long,” Charles Rhodes, who said Falcon’s sons were in his karate class. “He (sat) there and suffered for about 10 minutes before he died. And that’s unfortunate, that a police pursuit went bad.”
The watch commander called off the chase “figuring that … the suspect would slow down and nobody would get injured from the incident.”
