car wrecked, no money for the repairs!! got hit by drunk driver!!?

My car was hit by a drunk driver. left side of my car was severly damaged, both air bags deployed. I need to take it in for an estimate so i can fill out some paperworks to the dmv. BUT, even if i were to get an estimate, I can not afford to pay for the damages. My vehicle was uninsured and the driver that hit us is also uninsured. WHAT should i do so i can get my car fixed. it’s still worth over $12,000! I’ve contacted lawyers but they seem to be no help since we were “not seriously injured”. *ugh.. what should i do??

BTW– i live in wisconsin

Andrea Kidder, 28, a teacher at Oakridge Middle School in Golden Gate Estates, faces prison time if convicted in connection with the Nov. 13, 2009, accident, which killed the 22-year-old Bree Kelly. Kidder was arrested on Sept. 28 on charges of DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide and two counts of DUI with personal injury or property damage. She is on personal leave from her job.
