www.attorneyscottwright.com Attorney Scott Wright 321-723-1997 drtvSEID Hi. I’m attorney Scott Wright. If you’ve been injured in an accident, you should know the insurance company will aggressively investigate your claim. Their purpose in doing so is not to support your claim, but to improve their prospects for denying it. The insurance adjuster will interview witnesses, will request from you an authorization to release all of your medical records, may ask that you agree to be examined by a physician of their choosing at their expense. They may also hire a private investigator, conduct background checks on you, and also place you under surveillance. If you’d like to discuss how to deal with these measures of investigation by the insurance company, feel free to give me a call. You can reach me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 321-723-1997. I look forward to speaking with you.

I was in a wreck 2 days ago, I only have laibilty insurance on my car, however, it was not my fault, the person responsible took the blame and was stated in the police report, this is my first ever accident so I don’t know how to proced to file my claim, should I call the persons Insurance company myself or go to lawyer? my car was left in bad shape & I can’t & I would not risk driving it any longer.
ok… i rear ended someone, (accidents happen, i never want to have any) and i have insurance. however, the insurance company said they wont cover anything now because i’m on the excluded list. my husband put my name on the excluded list back when i didnt have a driver’s license. and both of us remember when i got my learner’s permit, he took my name off that list, our insurance company kept saying that my name didnt get removed. now my friends and co workers told me to hire a lawyer and sue the insurance company, but what if we dont win? we will end up paying the lawyer and who knows how much money the person that i hit wants??? btw, our insurance company is nation wide, and i dont think they are on my side…
btw, my name IS on the insurance card.
yea i really would like to call the person that i hit and offer fixing his car, my husband works at good year and he can do that. however, the guy that i hit said he was perfect fine, but when the cop came he said his neck was hurting, so i’m sure he’s trying to get a lot of money… i wasnt going fast at all, i was making a right turn (on a red light unfortunately…), i swear i stopped and look, i never speed, (i’m a new driver and i will never speed in my life) i was going about 15, maybe below that, and then i hit him…
look, i dont even like it when my husband speeds, and i got into a car wreck years ago because my friend was speeding… do u think i want to get myself killed?
yes, we have new insurance card. before the insurance card had his name on it, and after he removed me from the list, his name AND my name are on the card. yes, i live in texas
What kind of injuries did you have? How long did it take you to settle your case? How much did you settle for? What percent did you have to pay for your lawyer? Was your car totalled?
I’m just wanting to know some information on other cases that might have had to go through this. I basically was in a wreck wasn’t our fault. my ankle got injuried and i’ve never had to go with a lawyer before and was just wondering what other people have expericened through this time. and how much they recieved. it has been 3 months ago and i am still having to see docs cause my ankle has not healed yet but if it does i want to know what kind of settlement would i be looking at? my lawyer has his fee of 1/3 of whatever i get. but in other cases what did ya’ll get?
