Well yesterday a lady hit my car and made me hit the van infront of me she didnt mess up my car but she hit me hard well she started sayin oh ur ok lets just go on Im like no im pregnant im going to the hospital she was like this is none sense but Im like u hit me u could at least be nice well the baby was ok.. last time some one hit my car they left and I had to get the stuff fixed and my bumper didnt mess up then but It did bend my control arm and my whole tire broke off…So do u think im wrong to contact a lawyer because Im tired of people just hitting my car and thinkin well no damage lets just leave. I know this isnt really about pregnancy but I wanted to see what would other moms do. OH and because there was no visible damage she tried to change her story real quick and say she was sitting still we where at a red light and she wasnt payin attention she hit me when the turning arow turned green not the light we where at it was still red!! >my car is a honda accord between 2 vans!

I think you should contact a lawyer for sure. We can’t let people like this get away with it. I’m sure you’ll never see this lady again but next time she’s at a light I bet she’d pay more attention. I don’t drive but quite a few times I almost got hit crossing at the light with my baby in stroller. People just don’t pay attention…so I yell at the drivers and give em dirty looks and they always have a look like they can’t believe they almost hit someone. So I know that my yelling has made at least one driver more aware and I like to think that they will be more careful from then on. Good luck!

Ok, so the cops were there, but you still didn’t add what you would be suing her for??? If I and my child were fine I would thank God that no one was hurt, my car was fine, and be on my way. But I don’t understand “Im tired of people just hitting my car and thinking well no damage lets just leave”. Are you trying to get this woman to pay for all the people who have hit you before??? Makes absolutely no sense to me. You have no grounds to sue someone.

I would have the car examined and make sure that nothing small is wrong with it. Heck, even if it is not entirely the accidents fault, it could still be blamed on that and that would be one less thing that you would have to pay for. Then I would get a lwayer to ensure that she pays for both the inspection and repairs, if her insurance does not.
