I took my car to a BMW certified body shop after an accident. They took two and half months and a lot of headaches to fix my car. Since then I’ve taken my car back three times because of numerous problems, some of them major issues such as alignment and electrical, and they’ve had my car a total of almost 6 months and have charged my insurance over $30,000. My car is still not fixed. Not to mention that I’ve shelled out my $620.00 lease payments while they took their time trying to fix their own errors. My insurance has also doubled (even though I was not at fault in the accident). I am tired of dealing with the owner who I can only get a hold of if I go to the shop. They also charged me for rental cars which they agreed to pay for and they keep telling me that they are “taking care of it.”
I’ve looked far and wide. I’ve used my contacts, the internet and phone calls and cannot find an attorney who takes this sort of case. Please help!!!

It sounds like your out of pocket expenses are the lease payments. You aren’t going to be able to recover for what they charged the insurance company, because that’s obviously the insurance company’s loss. They aren’t responsible for your insurance rate going up.
It isn’t going to be worth it to hire a lawyer for a $620 claim. Take them to small claims court. You are more likely to get your money back without spending more than your loss.
